I am where it started long ago, when we did a trip to Italy to Toscana back in 1997. After a business trip to the travel fairs we took a few days off and did an unforgettable trip to the country side of Toscana drove through the narrow roads, tasted wonderful wines, stayed in Castello s with my late husband Haluk Mutlu almost 30 years ago. That was when I fell in love with this place and did a cooking class with a chef and told him this is what I wanted to do and I knew we could do it in Turkey ! We had everything the heritage of food culture, the hospitality experience, beautiful country side scenes what more wonderful produce vegetables, fruits, olive oil, spices and all. Being back here where it had all started brings back memories and what we had been through to make it happen and very thankful to everyone on the way that has been on my side to bring where our brand ‘Cooking Classes Bodrum’ is now, and a major thanks to Chianthi for the inspiration!
