A foodie day in Karaova, Bodrum

Organised upon request for minimum 2 to max 12 people

Karaova meaning the black valley in Turkish, is the breadbasket of the Bodrum / Milas area. This is where most of the vineyards, orchards and fields are. We also beleive that the name Karaova relates to Karia. We pick you up from your hotel or from a point in Bodrum around 9 am than we drive to visit the most famous Charcuterie in Bodrum where you will learn about variety of cheeses in the area, olives and olive oil and local produce, than we will get to the fields to pick up vegetables right from the farmers, visit the fishermens wharf to buy the freshest fish and come to our place for a lunch that will be waiting for us, we will make the salad together and grill the fish on the side.

After lunch we will be visiting a local vineyard tasting their wine and cheese, than on to a local village to see ladies rolling dough and cooking over woodfire a simple but delicious desert.  You will be back in Bodrum by 5 pm
